Exercise during fertility treatments - what is the verdict?
Excited to share insights from a UCSF study on exercise during ovarian stimulation for IVF and egg freezing! While most REIs recommend modifying intense workouts to reduce rare risks like ovarian torsion, UCSF found no added risk for those who exercised moderately—and reported significant stress relief benefits for patients who stayed active. If exercise is important to you, have an open conversation with your fertility doctor on safe ways to stay moving during treatment.
